THE 2019 LONDON BRUNCH EDITION

A sacred weekend ritual that no true Londoner could justifiably miss – brunch remains a tried and tested morning service.

With new spots popping up every other day, finding new gems in London is a weekly adventure. That said, how many times do you wake up on Sunday, dying to have a regular never-gets-old spot to hit up for your fix? Check out this list, for all my favourite haunts in the city – the trusty few that are always guaranteed to have amazing grub.

Farm Girl Café, Notting Hill

Unsurprisingly, Notting Hill has its fair share of brunch hotspots, and Farm Girl Café does not disappoint. Be sure to get there early on a weekend or you’ll be lining up for at least 45 minutes. This spot is a favourite during the summer, with the outdoor seating ideal for a girls Sunday brunch.

Flotsam & Jetsam, Wandsworth

THIS is hands down one of my all-time favourite haunts in South London – right next to Wandsworth Common, this is a go-to on a gorgeous day when the sun is out. Order just about anything off the menu and you won’t be disappointed

Electric Diner, Notting Hill

Hitting up Electric Cinema for a relaxed afternoon but want to grab a delicious bite before? Electric Diner at your service. Their pancakes are delicious – a classic American diner experience that is fail-proof.

Eggbreak, Notting Hill

Sweet potato roost with goats cheese? Mexican omelette with avocado and chili? Calabrian eggs with nduja? Chicken and waffles with chili maple dressing? If any of these are making your mouth water right now, Eggbreak is the place for you.

Truth, Hammersmith

A little local gem that has become a tried and true favourite. It’s small, but perfect for a group of 4-5, with outdoor seating that’s perfect in the summer. The pancakes are a must-order!

Chelsea Courtyard, Chelsea

A favourite near my old digs, this place is a bit of a hidden gem, and ideal for sunny Sundays. The menu keeps changing but their pancakes are a favourite.

Brew Café, Clapham

Avocado toast with chorizo and feta or turkish eggs with yogurt – my go-tos after a workout at Psycle right next door to this amazing neighborhood joint.

Lazy Hunter, Camden

Rustic, and a little bit of the country smack dab in the middle of London, this little spot is a perfect getaway within the city.

Megans, Fulham & Clapham

If you’re looking for a fail-safe choice and a good place to make your regular haunt that still has a surprise for you each visit, don’t look any further. Offering up a Middle-Eastern twist on brunch, you can’t go wrong with the feta & sweet potato fries and some shakshouka. A perfect spot in both Fulham and Clapham!

Where The Pancakes Are, Southwark

One of my favourite discoveries in 2018! Get there early because you will be waiting in line, but with the Shard as your view, it’s not too shabby. This spot lives up to its name, with an incredible range of sweet and savoury pancakes…. if a craving’s hitting you, this is the place to go.
